Hi Paola… pendulum for Japy Freres clocks are hard to come by in my experience but they do pop up from time to time (no pun intended). Sometimes the best bet is to purchase a damaged Japy Freres clock for parts with a good pendulum, then you always have the other spare parts for repair as these clocks become more rare. You have a gem on your hands… I will keep an eye out ;o)
Hi, i have a very ornate tortoise shell and gilt filigree cased mantle clock with a white enamel face with cobalt blue numerals, it has a glass front section which allows the pendulum to be viewed. on the mechanism is a small lozenge inscribed with bronze award 1860. can you give me any advice on it and where perhaps i might get it valued
Regards and Thanks
Grant Allen
I have a Japy Freres clock it is a carriage clock, enamelled on all sides with flowers, winds up with a key… no glass bezel… any ideas about it please.
Linda.
Hi there,
I have a french ormolu bracket clock fm japy. Yesterday we had a storm and a window blew open, hit the clock and threw it on the floor. The mechanism is still intact, but the casing (porcelaine with blue glazed background and ornated with flowers) broke in two. Is it still valuable to get it restored or shall I give it away for the psare parts ?

Thank you for the lovely depictions of these clocks. Would you have any idea where replacement parts might be available? We have a mantle clock from Japy Frere Co that is now missing the pendulum. Thank you ion advance for any help!
